Our Annual Charity Golf Classic
Each year we proudly host a golf tournament to raise funds for the Mayan Miracle Foundation — providing medical, physical, and humanitarian aid to villages across the Yucatan Peninsula.
The Cause
What Is the Mayan Miracle Foundation?
The Mayan Miracle Foundation seeks to assess and prioritize the needs of people living in the Yucatan Peninsula while providing volunteers with meaningful opportunities for service.
During expeditions to Mexico, volunteers provide food, household supplies, clothing, shelter through home repairs and new construction, and specialized needs — whatever the communities require most. The experiences and friendships formed during these trips far outweigh the goods provided.
Your participation in our golf event directly funds these expeditions, making it possible to continue and expand this work year after year.
Mission Statement
The Miracle of the Exchange
Our mission is to provide physical aid and establish lasting relationships in an attempt to ease the burdens of those living in remote villages in the Yucatan Peninsula. However, the miracle is separate from our mission.
While serving “the needy” we discover how desperately needy we actually are. We take simple provisions, arriving with clothing, food, household supplies, and a sincere desire to make a difference. Then the miracle occurs; the exchange happens.
We give them clothing; they clothe us in perspective. We give them food; they feed our souls with humility. We give them household supplies; they give us joy in simplicity. We offer our desire to help and they offer us true friendship.
Our mission is not to change the lives of the Mayan people in some drastic way, but rather to experience the inevitable change that occurs in our own lives as we become “anxiously engaged in a good cause.” We sincerely believe that by doing so, our families and communities are strengthened by the miracle made possible by the Mayan people.

A Great Day on the Course
Event Format
- Bountiful Ridge Golf Course — breakfast is served
- Shotgun start — all groups tee off simultaneously
- Groups of four players — best group score wins
- Each player receives a swag bag upon entry
- Purchase additional mulligans to improve your score
- After play: awards & raffle at the pavilion
Entry & Sponsorship
To participate, players donate a sponsor-level package — this gets you your entry, a swag bag, and the chance to compete for prizes. Over the years the event has attracted sponsorships from local businesses, dealerships, and Utah citizens who share our passion for giving back.
